TERNA MAG created voluntarily the Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for CCM and DBM products with global geographical scope to transparently provide the environmental impact of its products.
The utilized Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is based on a “cradle-to-grave” approach from the extraction to the disposal.

Caustic Calcined Magnesia (CCM)
83-97% MgO

Fully controlled & consistent characteristics
We offer a wide range of Caustic Calcined Magnesia products from 83% up to 97% MgO for a great number of applications such as: animal feed and fertilizers, pulp and paper, hydrometallurgy, construction materials, chemicals and specialties.
Our magnesium oxide is produced from naturally occurring magnesite mineral (magnesium carbonate) which is calcined in a kiln at temperatures of 800°C to 1000°C, depending on the specific application requirements.

Product Grades
FlammaCarb is a micronized technical grade of natural magnesium carbonate suitable for use as a mineral halogen-free flame-retardant material.It can be mixed efficiently with polymers at high filler fractions presenting exceptional thermal stability.
It acts synergistically with other flame-retardant minerals and it enhances the char formation. Flammacarb is especially suitable for PVC and EVA compounds. Available sizes at d90<45μm or d90<10μm
