Our highly reactive Magnesium Oxide in powder form is used in leaching processes of laterite ores as a neutralization reagent and in the precipitation of the hydroxides of metals such as nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co) or uranium (U) from their acid leachate solutions.

 

Our Kappamag–Hydro (96% MgO) & Deltamag-Hydro (94% MgO) have been particularly developed for Cobalt precipitation process. Their superior performance is achieved by combining our Multiple Hearth Furnace -the best calcination technology available to control reactivity -with the top-quality of our cryptocrystalline magnesite
