Advanced mine design at TERNA MAG through the Mastermine project.

TERNA MAG S.A. participates in the European funded Mastermine project, aspiring to enhance, among others, its digitalization, environmental sustainability, productivity monitoring, energy savings, and public acceptance.

The involvement of TERNA MAG as Demo Leader in the Mastermine project has resulted in advancing the potential of the company for Geotechnical stability tracking. By the successful installation and activation of a high-resolution monitoring radar system at KAKAVOS open-pit demonstration site, a key milestone towards improving safety and operational intelligence via advanced monitoring technology, has been achieved.

This installation marks a key technical goal in the Mastermine project enhancing the mine wall stability monitoring and the real-time data for risk assessment, which can drive further to efficient data integration, real-time modeling, and predictive analysis.
