TERNA MAG S.A. is proud to be part of a new scientific work in collaboration with the University of Patras within the EU funded MINOTAUR project.

With great pleasure, TERNA MAG S.A. was part of the work presented in the EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers) Near Surface Geoscience 2026 Conference on September 20-24, in Thessaloniki, Greece, by the group of Prof. Avramidis from the University of Patras.

This scientific work, which explores the integration of Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) segmentation for the detailed characterization of mineral-bearing rock cores was developed within the framework of the Horizon Europe MINOTAUR Mining project.
