TERNA MAG S.A. is a member of the consortium of the EU-funded Minotaur Project, focused on fostering innovation in the mining sector.

The project’s kick-off meeting took place on 14–15 November 2024 in Brussels, hosted by the IMA-Europe (Industrial Minerals Association - Europe), one of the project's partners.

The Minotaur Project aims to develop innovative exploration technology for deep land deposits. The project, with a duration of 36 months, is expected to address the exploration drilling problem from a novel and revolutionary perspective, bringing together geological principles and concepts involved in exploration drilling with modern technologies such as robotics, digital twin technology, and artificial intelligence.
