The EU funded Minotaur Project aims to foster innovation in the mining sector. The meeting was a great opportunity for the consortium to discuss and demonstrate the advancements of Minotaur’s mining demo for the next generation underground geological exploration. The technologies enabled for subterranean contour drilling involve modern robotics, digital twin, high-resolution sensing, and artificial intelligence, which introduce innovative exploration proposals for deep land deposits.
The meeting was cordially hosted by the Control, Robotics and Embodied AI group at the Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), whereas within the highlights of the sessions was the guided tour at DTU’s Autonomous Systems Test Arena.
